Sub-GHz micro-power wireless temperature & humidity sensor with LCD, on-device threshold alarms, 5+ km line-of-sight range, and 5-year battery life
The sensor ships ready to deploy with an integrated liquid-crystal display, so operators can read live temperature and humidity and confirm device status at the point of installation without any external reader. Periodic measurement runs on a configurable cycle, and the backlit LCD activates during setup to guide field configuration. This eliminates commissioning tooling and lets non-specialist staff bring monitoring points online in minutes.
Each node automatically registers to a concentrator and automatically routes through repeaters, so coverage extends across large or obstructed sites without manual addressing or cabling. Sub-GHz transmission reaches more than 5 km line-of-sight, and centralized collection consolidates every node into a single multi-mode data stream. Adding, moving, or scaling monitoring points becomes a drop-in operation rather than a network redesign.
A five-button interface lets technicians set the 24-hour clock and dial in temperature and humidity upper limits, lower limits, and alarm return (hysteresis) values directly on the device. When a reading crosses a configured threshold the sensor raises an over-limit alarm and triggers an immediate wireless report. Field-adjustable thresholds mean each monitoring point can be tuned to its own process window without back-office software.
With just 10±0.5μA static sleep current, the internal battery sustains more than 5 years of operation — approximately 1 year at a 5-minute sampling interval and 5 years at 30 minutes — letting operators trade responsiveness against longevity. Every telemetry frame reports battery voltage alongside sensor readings, enabling proactive replacement scheduling and preventing silent data gaps at remote points.
