Integrated wireless temperature transmitter with ±0.5°C accuracy, >500m range, <15μA average current, and 5-year replaceable-battery life
The device fuses the temperature probe, wireless radio, and battery into one compact, self-contained unit — no external sensor wiring, no separate transmitter box, no power cabling to pull. It emits standardized ASCII data frames, so a gateway or concentrator can parse readings without proprietary drivers. Drop-in deployment means each monitoring point is a single, sealed node rather than a wired instrument-plus-radio installation.
Average current draw is below 15 μA, sustaining more than 5 years of operation from one ER14250 3.6V lithium-thionyl-chloride cell (1000 mAh class). Because the battery is user-replaceable, the node is serviced in seconds rather than discarded, and the wide 2.5–3.6V operating range tolerates the cell's discharge curve across the full service life. This set-and-forget profile removes recurring maintenance cycles at remote or hard-to-reach points.
Operating at a default 433 MHz (with 868 / 915 MHz customization), the transmitter reaches more than 500 m line-of-sight while keeping transmit power under 10 dBm and receiver sensitivity better than -112 dBm. Low transmit (<40 mA) and receive (<20 mA) currents protect battery life during bursts, and the sub-GHz band penetrates structures better than higher-frequency alternatives — extending reliable coverage across warehouses, cold stores, and plant floors.
With a -40 to 80°C measurement span and ±0.5°C accuracy, the transmitter covers freezer, ambient, and process-temperature regimes from a single model. Its -40 to 80°C operating envelope and rugged, integrated construction make it suitable for outdoor and industrial environments as well as controlled cold-chain spaces, delivering consistent, audit-ready temperature data wherever it is mounted.
A single model serves cold-chain freezer rooms, outdoor meteorological stations, hospital pharmaceutical stores, chemical plant process lines, warehouse shelves, production-floor workstations, and industrial sites — all with the same -40 to 80°C range and ±0.5°C accuracy. The standardized ASCII data output means no per-industry gateway customization, and the sub-GHz wireless link eliminates cabling in every scenario from a sterile cleanroom to a remote outdoor pole. Drop the probe where the temperature matters, keep the body where the signal can reach — one architecture, unlimited monitoring points.
