Always-available visual access compresses incident investigation time and enables remote field verification.
One high-speed SDXC card slot (up to 256GB) paired with a hot-pluggable HDD or SSD bay (up to 2TB) gives operators two storage tiers: fast-access SD for event-locked clips, high-capacity disk for deep archival. Per-channel rates — 1.2 GB/h at 1080N, 1 GB/h at 720P, 750 MB/h at 960H — make capacity planning predictable.
When external vehicle power is abruptly cut during an accident or electrical fault, shutdown delay circuit sustains operation for several seconds to safely finalize and close active video files. This prevents the file corruption that commonly destroys critical incident footage, protecting the chain of custody for insurance claims and legal proceedings.
The KM-G2 works natively with FMS GPS Tracking Software, unifying live video, vehicle location, speed telemetry, and historical playback in a single web interface. Operators cross-reference any camera channel with GPS track data on a shared timeline, accelerating incident reconstruction and giving every stakeholder a shared operational picture.
